Endurance: 7 Marathons on 7 Continents in 7 Days: A Journey of Faith, Adventure and Self-Discovery

Running 7 Marathons on 7 Continents in 7 Days was a life-shaping physical and spiritual adventure that has forever changed me. From running in the blistering cold winds of Antarctica to the sun bathed beaches of Dubai, God used these seven days to teach me the importance of endurance and how it impacts every facet of my life. I struggled, bled, and fought alongside 55 others as we ran the globe on icy runways, along beautiful cobblestone streets and moonlit beaches. Throughout the journey I was strengthened and encouraged as God led me into deeper faith in him and love for others. Running the world in the course of a week allowed me to see the beauty of his creation while enjoying a sport that has changed my life. I have been married to Natalie since 2003 and we have two beautiful daughters, Kenlee and Annie. We live in Waxahachie, Texas where I work as a Financial Advisor and where I have been running and training with a wonderful group of friends since 2010. I have completed over 60 marathons or ultra-marathons with plenty more to come. I also serve as the race director for the Hachie 50 Ultra Marathon. My family attends The Avenue Church and we co-founded a local non-profit, Walk In Love, where we aim to meet the practical needs of those living within 10 minutes of our door. Read more
